The short version. Vocket is software, not a law firm. It proposes time entries, notes, and tasks from your voice and files them to your own Clio account only after you confirm each one. You review, you decide, you're responsible for what gets filed and billed.
It's beta software: free for founding members now, $49/month locked for founding members when we start billing, $79/month standard after that. Cancel any time.
Who we are, and accepting these terms
Vocket is a product of Esforge. These terms govern your use of the Vocket app and the tryvocket.com site. By creating an account, installing the app, or using the site, you accept them. Questions: hello@tryvocket.com.
What Vocket is not
Vocket is software, not a law firm. It provides no legal advice, performs no legal research, and drafts no legal documents. Using Vocket does not create an attorney–client relationship between you, Esforge, or anyone else — there is no attorney on the other end of the app.
Vocket proposes records from what you say. You review and confirm every record before it is filed. That confirmation is yours, and so is the responsibility that comes with it: for the accuracy of what you file, for your billing, and for your professional and ethical obligations to your clients and your bar. Vocket is a filing instrument for your own work product, not a substitute for your judgment.
The service
Vocket records your voice, transcribes it, and structures the transcript into proposed time entries, matter notes, tasks, and other records. Nothing is written anywhere until you confirm each item individually. Confirmed items are filed to your own Clio account — Vocket requires a Clio Manage account that you connect yourself, and writes only to that account.
Vocket is beta software. Features may change, be added, or be removed, and we do not guarantee uptime or availability while it is in beta.
Accounts
You sign in with your email address. Keep control of that email — anyone who can access it can access your Vocket account. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, and for telling us if you believe it's been compromised.
Pricing
- Free during beta. Founding members pay nothing while Vocket is in beta.
- $49/month, locked, for founding members once billing starts. We will tell you before any charge is made.
- $79/month standard for anyone who joins after the founding period.
- Cancel any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep access until then.
Acceptable use
- Vocket is for capturing your own voice and your own practice's data. Don't use it to capture someone else's voice or someone else's practice.
- No attempting to breach, probe, or overload the service — no scanning, no load-testing, no trying to access another account's data.
- No reselling Vocket or access to it.
Your data
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it is covered in the Privacy Policy; what we do and don't claim about security is on the Security page. Nothing in these terms overrides either page.
Your records are yours. Export everything or delete everything at any time, from inside the app. Deleting your Vocket data never deletes records already filed to your Clio account — those live in Clio, under your Clio agreement, not ours.
Intellectual property
We own the Vocket software, including the app, the site, and everything behind them. You own your content — your recordings, transcripts, and the records made from them.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Vocket is beta software provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Esforge's total liability arising from your use of Vocket is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for missed deadlines, billing outcomes, or other professional consequences arising from records you reviewed and confirmed — the confirmation step exists precisely because you are the decision-maker, not Vocket.
Termination
You can stop using Vocket and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll tell you by email or by notice on the site before the change takes effect, not merely update this page.
Governing law

Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
